REGISTRATION

Contest Guidelines

General Rules

• Participants can choose one or more contests to participate in.

  • Maximum of 3 for current students of Davinci Learning Center

  • Maximum of 2 for all other students

• All entries must be original and created during the contest.

• Bring your own stationery, colors, and writing materials.

• A4 sheets will be provided for writing and drawing.

• Judges’ decisions will be final.

• Additional instructions will be announced at the venue.

Math Olympiad

Students will be assessed on various aspects of mathematical ability, including arithmetic, comprehension, and problem-solving skills appropriate for each grade level.

• SECTION 1: evaluates overall mathematical knowledge and arithmetic skills.

• SECTION 2: assesses the ability to understand and formulate word problems

• SECTION 3: measures problem-solving proficiency across key areas.

Drawing Contest

• Theme announced on the spot

• Any medium allowed (pencils, crayons, markers, or paints)

• Use only the A4/A3 sheet provided at the venue

Spell Bee

• Preliminary Round: Grade-level word lists

• Final Round: On-stage oral spell-off

• Words will be from standard English vocabulary lists appropriate for each grade group.

• Participants will be eliminated on the second incorrect spelling.

Creative Writing

• Topic announced on the spot by grade group

• Grades 1–2: Short Narrative Writing (5 to 10 sentences)

• Grades 3–5: Short Narrative Writing (150–300 words)

• Grades 6–10: Narrative Writing (400–500 words)

Public Speaking

Topics

• Grades 1–2: My Favorite Toy (or) A Day at the Zoo

• Grades 3–5: Dream Vacation (or) My Role Model

• Grades 6–10: My Ambition (or) One Good Habit That Can Improve Our Society

Guidelines:

• Time limit: 1–2 minutes (Grades 1–5) | 2–3 minutes (Grades 6–10)

• Notes are not allowed during delivery

• Focus on clarity, confidence, and originality
